Charles "Charlie" Basch Obituary

Webster:  Wednesday, November 6, 2024, age 89.  Predeceased by his wife, Malou;  brother, William Basch;  sister, Catherine Krowl.  He leaves his children, Duane (Nancy Allinger) Basch and Karen (Steve) Musclow;  grandchildren, Nathan (Jenn) and Nicholas Basch, Craig Phelix and Nicole (Mark) Steele, Ryan (Catherine) and Kyle Musclow;  great grandchildren, Collin Basch, Hayden and Landyn Musclow;  twin sister, Carol Bennett;  sister, Mary Kober;  nieces and nephews.


 


In his youth, Charlie was an All County baseball and basketball player at Webster High School.  He worked alongside his father and ultimately owned the Charles L. Basch Mason Contractors.  In his retirement, he was known to many as “Colonel Coffee” as he served up coffee and breakfast sandwiches.
