Obituary of Bonnie Lee (Shutsy) Franko
Unexpectedly after a fall at home on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the age of 80, Bonnie went to join her beloved husband Edward, and her parents, Irvin and Annabelle Shutsy. She is survived by her brother, Jerry (Kathy) Shutsy; nieces, Brandy (Paul) Brauer and Olivia Brauer; nephews, Christopher (Megan) Shutsy and Max Brauer; many cousins and friends, including “adopted” son, Neal (Jenny) Argento.
Bonnie was a math teacher in East Irondequoit Schools for 35 years. She was extremely involved in the antique car hobby for over 50 years and had held the honor of being the first lady president of Packard Automobile Classics. She was a founding member of East Grand Packards where she served as Editor for 30 years, plus serving as directress. A founding member of Finger Lakes Buick Chapter of BCA, she was also involved with the Genesee Valley Antique Car Society.
Friends may call 1-3 PM Friday, May 19 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Funeral Service 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 30 at LaFayette Memorial Park, 132 Twin Hills Rd., Brier Hill, PA.
