Gorden was one of the finest at Kodak. It was a privilege to know him. I have thought about him many times since my retirement in 1998. He was a man of class. Condolences to his family.

Carol and family,
Our deep condolences to you and your family. Gordon was great to work with at Kodak. He was very instrumental in my obtaining my first leadership role at Kodak. I remember the words he said as I left for that new role. "Don't let me down" Sometimes when things got a little tough or a tough problem arose I thought about what Gordon said and did everything I could to have a positive outcome AND to not let Gordon down.
Take Care,
Frank & Lorraine Mucha

INovember 2019, Rod and I spent Thanksgiving in Hawaii with Carol and Gordon. This was one of Gordon’s last vacations before Parkinson’s continued to progress. I remember him saying, “I don’t want to sit in the room” and he didn’t. We went to the pool, beach and Luau. Carol and Gordon traveled on to Oahu for an island tour then on to San Diego to tour the USS Midway. He was so proud to be a Navy veteran. Thank you for your service.

Where do I begin, I met Gordo 13 years ago. His sometimes dry humor was hard to understand at first, but I grew to just love it and him so much over these years. He will be the closest thing I have to a father-in-law. Many memories of watching sports with him, watching Jeopardy with him, going to sporting events, parades, dinners, holidays, talking history, and politics or his life in the Navy, and getting to know him.
He accomplished so much in his life and I could always bust his chops on just about anything. I loved making him laugh whether it was a joke or just laughing at me.
He's been a great staple in his Grandsons lives (Jameson and Remington).
I'll miss you GAG

Gordon is the reason I played field hockey in middle school and through high school. I showed up to field hockey in 7th grade unsure of if this would be a fun sport and good fit for me. I was considering trying to be a goalie, but lacked the confidence to know if I could do it. Then I met Gordon! He helped to teach me the ropes of being a goalie. I remember when he’d help me get all suited up in the different goalie gear and would toss the tennis balls at me to see what I could stop. Gordon believed in me, encouraged me, and supported me! He helped me discover a love for field hockey and I am eternally for the memories that I have with Gordon. He was the best coach I have ever had! Gordon’s memories, his smiles, and his words of encouragement will always be with me and I hope one day in the future I can be as good of a role model and coach to others as he was to me!

Brian, Gabriella, Melvin, Julia and I send our deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers to Carol and the entire family for the loss of Gordon. Gordon along with beautiful Carol were always so welcoming every time I visited Rochester for work. He always had a funny to share with me and just an open heart of hospitality.

Coach Gordon was a great mentor. He always helped the keepers warm up and never failed to encourage us when we needed it most. I am lucky to have known him. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Gordon.

This man was the best defensive coach, a great ump and an even better mentor to me growing up on and off the field. He helped me through many hard times personally in school and was always on the sidelines cheering the team on at every field hockey game. Coach Gordon thank you for everything, you will be forever in our hearts and missed deeply

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Gordon?
A: Gordon was such a great guy! Walter and I had fun chatting about Field Hockey with him back in the day when our girls all played Field Hockey. So very sorry to hear of his loss. Our deepest sympathies are with Carol and the entire family, and our prayers are with you all.
