My sincere sympathy to the Hoysic family. I've known Pete through the various horticultural organizations and knew both his father and uncle--all great nurserymen. He will be missed by his fellow landscapers. I will miss our industry chats that ended in laughter. God bless you all.

Dearest Hoysic family
As you know I grew up with all of you on Baird, and I have some of my fondest of memories doing so. Pete was such a fun loving, good hearted person, and he is very missed. I have many fond memories, and he truly was amazing when it came to landscaping. He and my brother Tim landscaped my house in Williamson and did an amazing job. I will miss your smile, laughter (many times at my expense) and create a beautiful garden for us all to enjoy when we are together again!

Pete was around our family for years down at our cottage in Fair Haven, NY…great guy, loaded with personality and always had a smile on his face.. I think just about everyone down there on our cove got advice from him on all their flowers, plants and trees.. the 2 trees in our front yard were recommended to my mom by Pete some years ago.. the locust is my favorite cause it looks so tropical and beautiful next to the water! Sending prayers to his family.
