Walt made us all feel special. I know this because when I read the many heart-felt condolences, many of them could easily be me writing very similar memories. I’m one lucky person to call Walt my friend. Rest in peace Walt.

I knew Walt long ago and remember what a wonderful father and Christian he was. Although we lost tough I will always remember him with fondness and respect. I am sorry that he had such health problems but glad that he is now with our heavenly Father.

I met Walter through his grandson Christopher a student in the school I work at. Walter quickly become a friend to the main office and soon we were talking SU sports. A man of faith and a member of Holy Trinity I would find myself in long conversations with him about many topics. Walter made a lasting impression on me and he is the reason I joined the Knights of Columbus. Although COVID stretched our relationship I always knew he was a phone call away. I loved Walt and feel blessed to have known him. I’d like to think I was special but I’m pretty sure he knew just about everyone in Webster. He was truly a memorable personality.
Go rest now my friend and know your love lives on. Every time SU wins I will tip my cap to the sky and think of you. God bless

Uncle Walter Kowalski was one of the hardest working men I've ever known. He raised 5 kids, has 3 siblings, supported local first responders, built a pool with his own hands, hosted family and friends during the holidays with delicious mushroom & barley soup, and showed off his many trains. He was a wonderful man, I am so happy that he was able to go rest while at home and with his family and dogs around him.
Rest in peace, Uncle Wally. ♡ Rest well.

I shared many great times with Walt. His enthusiasm for SU Basketball was contagious. We attended many games together which often included dinners and long conversations about sports and life in general…He always talked with affection about his family especially his grandchildren.
My thoughts and prayers are with Walter and his family. God bless you old friend and rest in peace…

My goodness, a lasting memory was created every time I was near Mr. Kowalski; I (well, everyone) always knew his heart was focused on providing unconditional love and support to his family. Although a towering figure, he was a gentle giant that is forever etched in my mind. Walt - you will live on forever through your family and friends. I am so very grateful you have been a part of my life...
