We loved living across the street to Peggy and chatting while outside doing hard work, or seeing her walk her cute little dog, Finbar. We were always amazed at how well and capable she was. Once she was no longer living on the street she was missed. We are very sorry to have to miss her funeral due to work, but we have kept her and your family in our prayers. May she rest in peace. God bless you Peggy!

Tread lightly, she is near
Under the snow,
Speak gently, she can hear
The daisies grow.
All her bright golden hair
Tarnished with rust,
She that was young and fair
Fallen to dust.
Lily-like, white as snow,
She hardly knew
She was a woman, so
Sweetly she grew.
Coffin-board, heavy stone,
Lie on her breast,
I vex my heart alone
She is at rest.
Peace, Peace, she cannot hear
Lyre or sonnet,
All my life’s buried here,
Heap earth upon it.

I was fortunate enough to meet Maureen’s wonderful mother in AUGUSTA, GA, when we were both Active Duty Army Nurse Corps members. We had some great holidays together and she had a great laugh and sparkling personality. She was truly a unique and caring person who even took care of me when I was sick. I will never forget you, Peggy Seeley.

Mom, thank you for raising me to be a strong woman like you. Thank you for giving me a love for gardening. We traveled the world together and enjoyed countless evenings dining out or just watching "The Wheel" and Jeopardy together. I'll miss our chats and your witty sense of humor. I already miss hearing you say "I Love You Too"

Peggy and Don were wonderful next door neighbors. She could always be seen puttering around in her gardens. She is missed.
