I joined the Science Department at East High in September 1967 and quickly made many new friends among the faculty. Paul was one of those kind souls who welcomed me to the faculty. His role as Bookstore Manager made him one of the most prominent faculty at East, and I always enjoyed our occasional interactions. His friendship introduced me to his family's cider mill on Plank Road, where I have been a devoted customer for more than 50 years. Rest in peace, Paul.
