Obituary of Joanne M. Douglas

Friday, January 8, 2021, age 87.  Predeceased by her husband, Deacon Stanley Douglas. She leaves her children, Debra Ann (Bryan) Hardy, Susan Mary (Joseph) Doyle, Mary Elizabeth (Albert) Giglio; grandchildren, Ian, Megan, Laura, Kara, Ryan, Emily & Matthew; great-grandchildren, Kate, Claire, Evan, Annabelle, Henry, Cameron, Noah, Andrew, and Kennedy; sister, Patricia Keane of Fitchburg, MA.

Joanne worked as a secretary in the Army, at Broadway School and Notre Dame High School in Elmira, NY, and in the office at St. Rita''s Church upon her move to Rochester NY.

She also volunteered many years at Rochester General Hospital and served as secretary for the Women’s Rotary Club in Rochester, NY.

          Mass of Christian Burial at the convenience of the family at St. Rita’s Church, Webster.  Interment Webster Union Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to Aaron Manor, 100 St. Camillus Way, Fairport, NY 14450, where Joanne and Stan received loving care for the past 10 years.
