He was one of my dad's, oldest, best friends..He was uncle Lou to me..even tho no blood relation...I loved the whole Szklany family as if they were my own...
Lou was always the quiet one in the family..always smiling ...I know he's hanging out with my dad now and Helen, and having a great time with his brothers and Mommy...A great Euchre game happening every day...I miss them all so much...Love from Kathy Staines

We miss you terribly dad but we also know that you are with Jesus, mom and those that went before you in heaven.
Our father was a strong, frugal, and wise man. On any encounter he was a man of limited words yet he usually combined a beaming smile unless he was in “let me educate you on the right way to do it” mode :). Living 7 mos short of a complete century he has seen unbelievable change in his lifetime. Dad was a WWII veteran, husband, father, grandfather and accomplished as a craftsman carpenter with a super disciplined work ethic. The example he gave us was such a blessing for all of us. He loved his family!!!
We love you dad. Save us a spot as you explore your heavenly dwelling place.
