Betty Was a wonderful source of encouragement to me when I managed WMHN 89.3 FM out of Webster. The times I would visit husband John at he and Betty's home were so special. Betty always shared he appreciation of the Mars Hill network ministry, and our conversation always concluded with much laughing and with the warmth of a Christian sister in the Lord.
Betty's level-headedness kept John in check I am sure. Her absence is felt...but our reunion will be glorious one day.

Betty came into our lives several years ago when my Mom was declining in health. My parents lived with us and Stephanie had told me about her Mom's gift of caring for others. From her very first visit, I knew there was an angel in our midst. She was so kind and my Mom perked up from the first visit. She paid attention to her and would do her nails. Little things that meant so much. As the years went by, Betty became a part of our family. She was so thoughtful and shared her faith with all of us. I came to know the Lord in a different way from being in her presence. To say we will miss her is an understatement, but I am so happy for her to be in the arms of her savior...no more pain and sadness. All our Love Forever!

Betty was the most generous, selfless person I know. She always thought of others ahead of herself and was a true follower of Jesus. I am praying for her family who probably feels sad that she will be missed but happy that she is back to her “old” self again in the arms of Jesus in heaven.

Betty was the most selfless, servant of Jesus I ever knew. She always “heard” you. I loved to call her and share prayer. Her faith was sweet and demonstrated in everything she did ... oh that sauce! It is a gift to have counted her my true friend!
