Dear Marybeth, Larry, Brian and Jeremy,
Your Dad was my first boss at Turner and a kind and gentle man. He was a great teacher and molded me for what was to become my very long career with Turner. Your father had the greatest work ethic and I admired him greatly. I was very honored to have attended Jim's 80th Birthday and renew our almost 50-Year friendship.
Your father's kindness, compassion, and generosity of his time and knowledge in helping others will not be forgotten. He will be truly missed.
I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
With love, Patti Knowles

Dear Family of Jim Kemp,
My heartfelt condolences for the loss of Jim. It is sorrowful time when a loved one passes away, however we also praise God for the assurance we have knowing he is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It was my privilege and joy to serve along side of Jim as a Deacon at Webster Bible Church, and fellow Flower City Work Camp volunteer. He shared many wonderful stories about his life, and his volunteer work each Summer in Kentucky. He will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched.
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4
Sincerely,
Jim

How thankful I am to have known Jim the last ten years of his life and also to have served as his pastor. Jim was a model of humble Christian service. He loved the Lord, and he loved people — locally and globally. And Jim most certainly loved his wife Ginny. He talked about her all the time, and we rejoice knowing that they are now reunited in our Savior’s presence, and we look forward to that day when we, too, will share in that heavenly glory. “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy: at your right hand there are pleasures forevermore” (Psalm 16:11).
