Obituary of Dorothy E. Woodward
Penfield: Passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the age of 95. She was born on May 9, 1925 to William and Mabel Sutorius, and lived on the family farm her entire life. She married William W. Woodward on June 28, 1958 and was a longtime member of the Zion Evangelical Church, later known as the Webster United Methodist Church. In her free-time she enjoyed outdoor activities (especially gardening), reading, crocheting, knitting and refinishing furniture.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband William, sister Evelyn Feil and brother Ronald Sutorius. She leaves behind her children, Daniel Woodward (Susan), David Woodward (Linda) and Jo Ann O’Neill (Dan). In addition, she leaves her beloved grandchildren, great grandchild, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Those wishing to contribute to a memorial fund in her honor, may direct your contribution to a charity of your choice, or the Webster United Methodist Church.
