Our condolences to John and Debbie. Jean was a bright light, will never forget skiing together across Osgood Pond, and the visits we had with Jean and Phil and Loomis the wild cat.

Jean was our daughter’s first grade teacher. She was so encouraging and kind. I’ll never forget being invited to come on her Christmas Tree Walk. The entire class bundled up and walked across the frozen fields to Marchner to pick out a tree for the classroom. The kids took turns lugging it back to the school. We all had a wonderful time. She truly saw her students as individuals with unique abilities and needs. She was one of our daughter’s very favorite teachers.

Jean was kind, pleasant, a good sport, had a good sense of humor and always willing to have a sliver of each for dessert.
