Obituary of Anita A. Dickinson
Penfield: Went home to be with the Lord Sunday, December 22, 2019 at the age of 85. She leaves her loving husband, Paul; daughter, Lori (John) Powers; grandchildren, Michael (Lisa), Eric (Jaeden), Steven (Abby) and Johnathan Powers; great granddaughter, Evelyn; sister, Kathleen Lootens; brothers, Laverne (Donna), Richard (May) and Donald (Pam) Anstee; nieces and nephews.
Anita was born on June 2, 1934, and lived in Clyde, NY, where she graduated from high school in 1951. She then attended SUNY Brockport, graduating in 1955, and started a 20-year career teaching in Webster. Anita married Paul on July 26, 1958, and their daughter, Lori, was born on September 2, 1965. A member of Webster Assembly of God since 1958, Anita taught Sunday School for 38 years. She was also involved at the Browncroft Community Church Sunday Evening Fellowship. She was an excellent seamstress and baker, known for her cookies, cupcakes, shaped cakes, and crafts she would make. Anita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Friends are invited to her Memorial Service 2:00 PM Sunday, January 5 at Webster Assembly of God Church, 708 Hard Road, Webster, NY 14580. Interment at the convenience of the family at Rose Cemetery, Rose, NY. Memorials may be directed to the Church’s Mission Fund. Arrangements by Willard H. Scott Funeral Home.
