I only knew Anita for a short time through the Sunday Evening Fellowship at Browncroft. In that short time she impressed me with her sweet spirit and her strong faith. Anita loved the Lord and she loved her family. I will miss her and I know that Paul, Lori and the rest of the family will feel her loss so much. May the Lord's presence be your comfort now and in all the days and nights ahead.

What a blessing Anita was in the formative years of my Christian life at Webster Assembly of God. Her kindness, compassion, gracious demeanor, and godly character were a testimony to Jesus living in her. My heartfelt condolences and prayers to Paul and Lori over your loss. I regret that I will be unable to attend the service on Sunday as my pastoral duties preclude me from coming but know that I will be there in thought and spirit.

Anita deprived me of the ability to tell mother-in-law jokes. She had a refined sense of humor, to be sure, but she could hardly be made the butt of any joke. Unlike everyone else that ever knew her, our relationship started off somewhat adversarial as I was competing for her young daughter’s affection. As each of the ensuing 40 years passed, my respect for her grew and for some reason, unknown to me, the reciprocal seemed true. She was quiet, smart, and strong with a faith of iron. She was also my wife’s best friend and I know the reciprocal of that was true. She was a shining example of understated Christian character. We will all miss her.

Anita and Paul were surrogate parents/grandparents to us and our kids when we lived in Penfield. We had no family around so they so lovingly 'adopted' us and loved on us like family. We will always remember and be so grateful for all that they did for us. So long, Anita. We will see you again!

She was my favorite Sunday school teacher. She was kind and loving, a sweet soul.
