Obituary of Vernon E. Collier

Webster:  Saturday, October 5, 2019, age 94.  Died peacefully surrounded by his “Amazing Grace” and his loving family.  Predeceased by his wife, Mary Jane;  son-in-law, Ron Bryant.  He leaves his loving companion, Grace Donovan;  3 children, Vern (Edie) Collier, Patricia (Robert) Reittinger and Kathie Bryant;  8 grandchildren;  5 great-grandchildren;  sister, JoAnne (Arthur) Barth;  nephews, supportive neighbors, loving friends and hospice nurse, Lindsy Pappert.  The family would like to acknowledge the compassionate care provided by the wonderful staff and volunteers at Webster Comfort Care Home.

          Friends may call 2-4, 6-8 Wednesday at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster.  Memorial Service 1:00 Thursday at Asbury First United Methodist Church, 1050 East Ave., Rochester, NY 14607.  Memorials may be directed to the Church Discretionary Fund or Webster Comfort Care Home, 700 Holt Rd., Webster, NY 14580.
