Shirley and I grew up on Genesee Park Blvd. We attended Calvary Baptist Church on Genesee Street and sang in the Calvary Choristers together. Shirley had a beautiful spirit. The last time I talked to her was last Christmas and we also exchanged Christmas cards. She talked about her family allot and know she will be missed by all of you, Sorry I couldn't get to the funeral parlor or the funeral. I am not able to drive .
What a great women she was. She will always go down as one of Palm Hill Country Club's finest ladies. What an asset she was to our Memorial Day and Veteran's Day Programs. Shirley you will be remembered by many. RIP my friend.
Charlie and I were great friends of Shirley & Chuck. We played many golf games with Chuck who was my partner when I got my first hold in one on the third hold at Palm Hill. I don't know who was more excited, Chuck or me. They both lived a wonderful full life while here at Palm Hill and were loved by us all. May they be together in haven and continue to live together in holy glory. Nancy PlatiaCP
