Our deep sorrow for the passing of this courageous gentle soul from this earth. We send love to Sue and the "kids", and we remember Marty's humor and strength. We know Mom was holding the gates of heaven open for him and waiting with a plate of his favorite cookies. I can almost hear the laughter as he and the heavenly family play pinochle together.
Memories of Marty at Allegany in the summer and skiing in the winter, a lot less skiing at Duffield as we all sat around the fireplace, Marty and Steve with their crazy definitions in Balderdash - so much fun! So thankful for chance to talk about these “old times” during visits in Rochester.
What we remember most about Marty is his incredible strength and endurance in the face of mountainous challenges. His spirit will remain a powerful example to us and to many.
