Obituary of C. Michael Hill

Webster: Monday, January 21, 2019, age 70. Predeceased by his parents, Robert & Dorothy Hill. He leaves his wife of 47 years, Karen; daughter, Erika; brother, Benny Hill; aunt, Kitty King; father-in-law, George Heissenberger, Sr.; brother-in-law, George (Peggi) Heissenberger, Jr.; several nieces and nephews.

          Mike served in the 102 Army Corps of Engineers, and was stationed in Pleiku, Vietnam from 1968-70. He belonged to a military writing group. Mike had a keen interest in genealogy, which led him to trace back his family’s heritage to the 1700’s, and to become a member of the Rochester Genealogical Society. He was also known to enjoy car racing, including slot car racing, and he particularly loved Penske Racing.

          Friends may call 2-4 PM Saturday, January 26, at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster, where his funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM. Interment at Webster Rural Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
