Obituary of Samuel Lynn Colvin

Webster: On Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, age 86.  He leaves his wife of 63 years, Eleanor; children, Julia (Daniel) Hill, Alan (Kelly), Janice (Douglas) Cornell and Andrew (Donna); grandchildren, Clayton & Cidney Hill; siblings, Muriel (Tom) Hohstadt of TX and Lowell (Mary) of NY; nieces & nephews.

     Sam was a Kodak retiree employed for 36 years.  An avid sailor, he was a life member and past commodore of the Fair Haven Yacht Club, president of the Fair Haven Bay Betterment Association and past president of the Webster Athletic Association.  The family would like to thank the staff at Heather Heights for the care and compassion provided to Sam this past year.

     Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 PM Monday, Nov. 19th at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster.  Memorial Service 11:00 AM Tuesday, Nov. 20th at Webster Presbyterian Church, 550 Webster Rd.
