Obituary of James Walter Lucey
Lucey, James Walter
Webster: Sunrise: 2/5/1929, Sunset: 8/16/2015. Jim passed away peacefully in the love and comfort of his home. Predeceased by his granddaughter, Hannah Titus. He is survived by his devoted family who walked with him every step along this difficult journey, his wife of 56 years, Sheila Donahue Lucey; children, Jim (Susan), Jeanette (Larry) McNally, John (Linda), Anne (Stephen) Tobin and Kathleen (Bill) Titus; grandchildren, Jonus (Niki), Alison, Sarah and Faith Lucey, Catherine McNally, Jonathan, Colin, Brian and Delaney Lucey, Stephanie Snook, Rebecca Tobin, Noah and Emily Titus; great-grandchildren, Michael Snook and James Hudson Bain-Lucey; sister, Lillian Sanders; loving brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.
Jim graduated from Niagara University following his service in the Army during the Korean War. He was employed by OMS as an Industrial Sales Manager for 40 years. Actively involved with Holy Trinity Parish as a Eucharistic Minister, Jim also coached CYO basketball and was past president of the Holy Trinity Men's Club. Along with spending many hours cheering for and supporting the soccer endeavors of his family, other favorite pastimes included fishing and golfing.
Friends may call 4-7 Thurs. at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Fri. at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Rd., Webster. Interment, Holy Trinity Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Gilda's Club of Rochester or The School of the Holy Childhood.
