Dear Katie.....
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Your father was a true gentleman.... beloved by my kids who always affectionately referred to him as Grandpa. He was so good to our children as he often chauffered and watched them after school......sometimes they'd return the favor while he took a well-deserved nap :)....they adored your Dad !
Some of my fondest memories came while playing CYO basketball for both your Dad and Mr. Mahoney....we had great times despite our inability to win many games. My mother often times reminisces about the look of exasperation on his face during our games....his hair a mess and towel in hand....he was a gem of a man !
I'm thankful we had the opportunity to visit with him one last time prior to Ben & Emily's prom. We'll miss him....
