Obituary of Stella D. Maliborski
Webster: Peacefully on November 30, 2017 at the age of 104 ½. She was born in Potok, Poland and emigrated to the U.S. through Ellis Island at age 13. She grew up in Gowanda, NY where her family settled and farmed. She married Edward T. Maliborski, the love of her life, on October 25, 1941.
Predeceased by her parents,Dorothy & Jakob Dubaj; husband, Edward; sister, Marion Holocinski; grandson, Joseph Maliborski; and close friend and companion, Stanley Lojek. She leaves behind her daughter, Carol Stein; son, Edward F. Maliborski (Ann); granddaughter, Danielle Stein; grandson, Edward T. Maliborski (Michelle); great-granddaughter, Amber Maliborski; and brother, Theodore Dubaj; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Stella had very long life that was very well-lived. She loved her family, friends, flowers and animals. And she was much-loved.
Friends may call 2-5pm Sunday, Dec. 3rd at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Mass of Christian Burial 11:15 am Monday at St. Rita’s Church, 1008 Maple Dr. Webster. Interment Webster Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider Lollypop Farm, or a charity of your choice.
