I just read about the recent death of Brian and I know Stacey and the Ball family and loved ones have saddened hearts today. So I wanted to share beautiful scripture where our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18), promises us that he is going to do away with man's greatest enemy, death. Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. https://vimeo.com/232445509
I will keep you in my prayers.

One week ago today, I received news of Brian’s passing. I offer a heartfelt condolence to his family and friends. Loss is difficult, but equally heart wrenching for the cancer survivor because the journey is painful and the end, as far as this world is concerned, is inevitable. If I learned anything from the kids cancer camps that I volunteer for and as a survivor myself, the survivors always feel bad, and with a tinge of guilt, worry about the family members. Our culture requires a sad response to death instead of a celebration; death, indeed, is life's final promotion. Brian’s faith, hope, fearlessness, and his unending commitment to family and his community will be treasured in memories for all that knew him. I was but a teenager when my family moved from Jamestown to Florida, but I remember Brian would tag along with the older cousins as we went exploring in the hills at the farm; he is also the kid who would warn us of potential dangers (that never worked) and who always wanted to be a fireman.
Rest in peace dear Brian, for you are dancing in the fields of our Lord.

I am so sorry for Brian's family. I never got to know Stacey, Sarah, and Taylor. And I'm sorry to say I haven't seen much of Brian in many, many years. But I have kept up with him through Brad and Bruce. And, most important, I have many great memories of Brian as a boy, when our families camped together often, and when all of us boys in both families were in Scouts together. Brian and I were in Police Explorers together, too. The thing I remember best about him was his sense of humor. He did the best Monty Python imitations, something that kept us laughing for years. I also wanted to point out, with apologies to Brad and Bruce, that Brian most clearly resembles his father. Some of the pictures I've seen on Facebook took my breath away, it was so striking to see Harold's face. I mean that as a high compliment. Both were great men who meant a lot to me early in my life. I just wanted you to know the impression Brian left that lasted for decades.

Many blessings to Stacy, Sarah and Taylor, on the loss of their loved one! I ask God to guide them all, protect them and watch out for them as they venture through each day from this point on. Brian will be missed physically, but will always be remembered in our hearts and minds for being the great guy he was here on this earth. He has been called to serve a new assignment with his Father now. We will see him again, one day!

Knowing the boys as little kids on Sherwood, it was nice to spend time with him as an adult at the bus garage. He was part of our little humorous bunch of newbies that made it fun to go to work. He had a great sense of humour and he will be really missed by all. My heart goes out to the family and may he rest in peace.
