Obituary of Marian Craft

Webster: Monday, October 2, 2017, age 90.  Predeceased by her husband, Stuart, and son, James.  She leaves her daughter, Betty (Eugene) Myers;  grandchildren, Katie and Kelly Myers;  nieces and nephews.

          Marian loved gardening at home, growing assortments of flowers, fruits, and vegetables. She enjoyed canning the produce she grew, along with being an avid cook and baker. Marian married her husband, Stuart, on December 6th, 1947, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Lutheran, where she regularly volunteered and was a Sunday School teacher. While she spent years focusing on raising her children, James and Betty, Marian found a way to expand her love of gardening by working at Welch’s Greenhouse in Webster during the springs, transplanting plants. Later in life, Marian enjoyed bowling with her fellow seniors at Empire Lanes.

Services were at the convenience of the family.  Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery, Penfield.  Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. or Wayne County Humane Society.
