We first met John when he sold us our Village of Webster dream house at 85 Dunning Ave in late 1979. This 1904 home was originally built by one of his ancestors and we loved every bit of it. He made this sale possible by buying our newly constructed 1976 home.
Jack would occasionally encounter John at the local barber shop and he always asked "do you guys still love the house", with a smile.
In the early 1990s, we ran into John and his wife at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont and enjoyed a short conversation (they had dinner reservations) over drinks. Again, he inquired, how we were enjoying the old village home.
We have fond memories of John and are eternally grateful that he made it possible for us to live our dream for almost 28 years.
