Obituary of Goldie B. Fairbank

Webster, N.Y., Goldie passed peacefully and went to heaven on May 8, 2017 at the age of 92. She is survived by 5 children; daughters, Cynthia (Bob) Miller, Deborah (Michael) Strusz, Ann (Michael) Spedale, and sons, Charles (Becky) Fairbank and Jonathan (Rachael) Fairbank; 10 grandchildren, Bobbie, Christopher, Willie, Shannon, Ryan, Aaron, Chet, Katie, Melissa and Amy; 6 great grandchildren; sister JoAnn Moding, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Willard and Dorothy, stepfather William, first husband Charles, soul-mate Harold, a sister Connie and a beautiful great-grandchild, "Angel" Alison. Goldie was a devout Christian and longtime member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Endwell, N.Y. As the wife of a military member she traveled to the Pacific region during WWII and had lived in many areas of the country. She was a strong woman with a beautiful, gentle soul, very devoted to her family and was blessed to have had many years close to her family members. Friends may call from 10-11:30 AM at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster, followed by a burial at Webster Union Cemetery.
