Obituary of Richard Howard Vendel

Webster: Surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at age 63. Predeceased by his father, William Vendel Sr. He leaves his loving wife of 44 years, Nancy; children, Jennifer (Michael) Giorgione, Brian (Kacy); grandchildren, Isabella, Sophia, Ryan, Austin and Elizabeth; mother, Betty; brothers, David (Colleen), William Jr. (Laura), Tim, Dennis (Kathy); aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. Dick was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting & fishing. He was retired from the Town of Penfield Highway Dept. and a life member of the Webster Fire Dept. But most of all, Dick loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. Friends may call 4-7 Tuesday, May 2nd, at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. A Celebration of Dick's life will be held 12 - 3 PM Wednesday, May 3rd at Webster Fireman Exempt Bldg., Sanford St., Webster.
