Obituary of Robert H. Ryan

Webster:  Passed away peacefully on December 06, 2024, at the age of 83, surrounded by his loving family.  Predeceased by his parents, Harold and Inez Rapp Ryan. Bob graduated from McQuaid Jesuit High School, Class of 1959.  He entered the US Army in June of 1964 and was honorably discharged in 1969. Bob worked for Yaeger Electric and later J.N. Giammarino Construction until his retirement.  He was a member of the West Webster Fire Department for over 50 years. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, creating many unforgettable moments shared with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Beverly Ryan; son, James (Jennifer) Ryan, daughter, Heather (Cliff Dailey) Ryan; grandchildren, Landon, Jonathan, and Emelie; sister, Carole Ryan Merchant; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home 12 South Avenue, Webster.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday December 13, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 1008 Maple Drive, Webster.  Interment will be at West Webster Cemetery immediately following.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory can be made to the American Heart Association or West Webster Fire Department.  The Mass will be livestreamed at www.StRitaWebster.org
