Many years later after Scott Daniels was part of “a very special folk quartet”, I married him. I was hired as a special education teacher at Plank South Elementary School and was honored to meet and work with Bev Levy. Immediately Scott reminisced about his younger elementary singing experience, bringing back those younger day memories. I couldn’t blame him. Bev was talented in her field. She put on the best and most moving concerts at holiday time and in the springtime. That speaks well of her work. Beyond that though, she was a good friend and had a wonderful sense of humor. She spoke of her family often, and clearly Gail was her love. I’ll always remember how she dressed…so cool, yet classy! I am fortunate to have known Bev, and Scott and I will forever hold on to dear memories of her. Our condolences to her very loved and special family.
