Obituary of Agnes Blanche Lipsett
Webster: Agnes passed on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at age 100 yrs., 7 mos., 12 days to join her beloved husband, Laurence C. Lipsett, ED.d; parents, Benjamin F. and M. Blanche (Luther) Carter and her four siblings who all predeceased her. She leaves her two daughters, Louise (Frank) Richens and Judith (Normand)Caron; six grandsons, Everett Jr., Michael, Stephen, Gregory, William and Rodney; five great-granddaughters, Brittany, Jessica, Danielle, Nicole and Andrea; and one great-great-grandson, Brody.
Agnes was born in Lake Odessa, MI, met her husband in Michigan and together they spent their married life in Western New York, and much of that in Webster, NY. Although considered the weakest in health of her four siblings she outlived all of them and beat her father's 100 year 3 month age record by several months. She worked at the Webster Lucas Pharmacy, the Webster Pennysaver, and assisted her husband, Laurence C. Lipsett, ED.d with testing as an Industrial psychologist. Agnes was also active with the Webster Presbyterian Church activities including the guild circle knitting of afgans for various groups.
Friends are invited to her Memorial Service 1:30 PM Friday at Webster Presbyterian Church, 550 Webster Rd. Webster, NY 14580. Private interment at Webster Union Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the church or a charity of choice.
