I loved my brother in law. A beautiful memorial service was put together for him by people who also clearly loved him. A perfect eulogy was said by his niece who spoke very eloquently and reflected his personality, Love, compassion and humor perfectly.
I am so thankful for Jeff and his family who Filled Al’s life with family and love. It was beautiful to see the family that they have created together and the life that they’ve had together. Al will live on through all of us.
My brother-in-law has left an imprint in this world that won’t be forgotten. He cared and loved Deeply, he was generous and he had a quick wit like no other.
I know that I will see him again.

My friend Al was one of the first people I met after coming out, he was sweet, kind, funny, handsome, caring, and many more wonderful things as a all together nice person, he always greeted you with a smile and hello and sat and talked to you, I met him and Jamestown New York we hit it off his friends right away we camped we dined we ate breakfast late at night we drank we we had it all on friendship. Forever rest in peace my friend you will be missed but you will be seen once again by myself and others if I could reach up and hold a star for every time you made me smile or anyone else we would have an entire evenings sky in the palm of our hands, love and prayers to his husband and his family God bless, Deacon David a Steed.

Al, You left us all too soon. Working with you, for years, at the DDSO was very memorable. Your wit and humor was always appreciated and promoted by all the nurses. The love and caring of the individuals under your care was immeasurable.
I will remember you with the great smile, and if you were lucky a great hug.

As I look at the next line "Add a Gesture" I can hear several lines you might have said.
