Webster:  age 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Barbara was at home surrounded by her loving husband of 34 years, Stephen J. Hay and daughter, Denise Hachey.

Barbara was born on April 23, 1948 to Frank L. and Elsbeth F. Foote in Rochester. She graduated from RL Thomas High School in Webster in 1966, and then from Monroe Community College. She worked at Kodak Park for 30 years before retiring from RG&E. During her Kodak years, she attended night school at Rochester Institute of Technology and graduated with a BA in Business Administration. Barbara had many hobbies and interests throughout her life. She loved to crochet, scrapbook, paint, and was the family photographer. She also loved spending time with her "6-pack" group of high school girlfriends, hosting family gatherings, and watching her grandsons’ sporting events.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Stephen; daughter, Denise Hachey (Travis Downs); her beloved grandchildren, Donovan, Jaxson, and Chase Kindberg; brothers, David (Judith) Foote and Eric Foote; sisters, Mary Ellen (Steven) Antonson, Elsbeth Foote, and Suzanne Foote; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Barbara was a friend to all and will be terribly missed.

Friends may call 3-5 PM Tuesday, October 29 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster, where a short Memorial Service will follow at 5:00 PM. The family would like to thank Rochester Regional Hospice for their help in caring for Barbara.
