Obituary of Linwood A. Poray

Brighton:  Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, age 68.  He leaves his wife, Mary Ann;  children, Zachary and Courtney (Nate) Poray, Brittany (Jordan) Pankey, Deborah (Dan) Cochrane, Dianne (Jeff) and Ken (Sue) Schaumberg;  15 grandchildren;  3 great-grandchildren;  sister, Nancy (Sherri) Poray.

Linwood loved fishing and was an avid hunter.  He proudly worked at Matrix Unlimited, Sentry Safe and Creekside Monroe BOCES1, where he loved working with the children and especially enjoyed playing the role of Santa at Christmas time

Friends may call 2-4, 6-8 Monday, September 2 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster, where his Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 3.  Interment, Lakeview Cemetery, Pultneyville.  Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Soc.
