Obituary of Edward Scott Knox
Passed away peacefully on August 16, 2024, at Rochester General Hospital at the age of 72. He was born on January 14, 1952 in Rochester, NY to Edward C. Knox and Lucille. He lived in Webster, NY all of his life and was 1971 graduate of R.L. Thomas High School.
He was married for 49 years to his wife, Debra [Paquin]. They had three sons, Edward “Scottie” (Sarah) Knox, Jr., Andrew R. (Christy) Knox, Corey J. (Amanda) Knox, and grandchildren, Jordyn, Joe, and Ivy.
Scott, as most people called him, was self employed most of his adult life as a welder. He, his father and brother, owned Aluminum Systems, manufacturing and installing aluminum gutters.
He is survived by his wife, Debra; three sons; three grandchildren; sister, Susan Andrews; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Lucille; brother, James.
Scott’s life was one of love, loyalty, music, and laughter for family and friends. He was a rock ‘n’ roll encyclopedia, reflected in bands, Friends Unplugged, with beloved friends, playing guitar, harmonica, and vocals. He also enjoyed traveling, fishing, cooking, eating, and napping! He was very handy and enjoyed building challenges, always ready to help others.

Visitation will be held 4-7 PM Friday, August 23, at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster.
