Square dancers in the Rochester area remember Don from his days with the Copy Cats and other clubs. We are so sorry to hear of Don's passing.
I'm the editor of the Promenader, the newsletter of Rochester's organization of area square dance clubs. We publish the obituaries of dancers when their dancing friends send them to us, and we try to add a paragraph about their square dancing days - with a photo if we can find one.
We received Don's obituary from a Copy Cat member and a brief note from caller Mike Callahan about Don's advance from beginner to "advanced" and "challenge" levels. Unfortunately, we have not been able to locate a photo of Don or the two of you together.
