Irondequoit:  Fri., July 12, 2024, age 90.  She leaves her husband of 70 years, Gerald R. Mayeu;  sons, David (Mary Kay), Carl (Mary) and Steven (Lori);  grandchildren, Mark (Julie) and Jeff Mayeu, Cara (Stephen) Leone and Garrett (Arrie) Morken, Steven Mayeu;  great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Devin, Nathan and Molly Mayeu;  sister, Bonnie Johnson;  brothers, Howard (Linda), Harold, Vaughn (Joan) and Monty Bates;  nieces and nephews. 

Joanne will always be remembered as a loving wife and mother with family as her primary life focus.

Friends may call 4-7 PM Tues., July 16 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster, where her Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Wed., July 17.  Interment, Webster Rural Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Assoc.
