Charlie lived across the hall from my Mom, Ev, at BayWinde in Webster, NY He would always say hello, and was a comforting presence. Later, ironically, he resided at Maplewood, where my Dad also resided. I went to say Hi to him several times there. Lots of coincidences. It was a pleasure reading about his life. Glad to have known him..
