Obituary of Theresa Graff
Peacefully entered into rest on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at age 93.
Theresa was born in Canonsburg, PA. She graduated from the Robert Morris Business College in Pittsburgh, PA, after which she worked in a law office in Pittsburgh.
Theresa and her husband, Tony, later moved to New York and settled in Webster where they resided for over 50 years together and where Theresa has resided for over 60 years. After her children were grown, she reentered the workforce and retired from The Gleason Works where she had been an executive secretary. She did considerable volunteer work after her retirement, and particularly enjoyed volunteering in the office at Holy Trinity Church. She mostly enjoyed raising her four young children and especially later being a “cookie baking Grandma”.
Theresa was predeceased by her loving husband, Tony, of 63 years; her daughter Diane; grandson John Bukowski II; and her parents, Charles and Mildred Heiser. She is survived by her children Robert (Mary Ann), Richard (Ann Marie), Charlene (John Bukowski), and William (Patricia). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Christopher (Sara), Alexander (Leah), and Cooper Graff; Jessica Bukowski (Jeremy Kommel-Bernstein); and Wayne, Michael (Elizabeth), and Gregory (Erin) Solomon. She is also blessed to be survived by her great-grandchildren: Simon Railsback; Savannah, Benjamin, and Grace Solomon; Steven and Eliza Bukowski; and Zander Graff.
Friends may call on Friday, June 28 from 4-7 PM at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 29, at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Road, Webster. Interment will be at Holy Trinity Church Cemetery following the funeral Mass.
