My dear Cathy was my roommate at Purdue University. Besides studying hard (Cathy more than me) , we got involved in all sorts of mischief, including panty raids, huge snowball fights, bringing food into the dorm, decorating a big Christmas tree with forbidden lights, and many other pranks and adventures. We kept our room so neat other girls would pay us to let them "borrow" the room when their parents came to visit. Cathy was Maid-of-Honor at my wedding. We lost track of each other for a few years, but got back together later in life and had more fun adventures, sailing on a schooner in Maine for a week, watching sea turtles nest under a full moon, and trips to see New York City Ballet and Broadway shows.. We were planning to get together again this summer, however that was not to be.
I will miss you so much, Cathy, I'm so lucky you were my my friend. Rest easy. I love you.

I am so sorry to hear about Cathy’s passing. We are theater friends from both Webster Theater Guild and Pittsford Musicals. I did not even know that she was sick. I am so sorry for your loss but can rejoice in the fantastic life that Cathy had. We were also teacher friends. She worked in Williamson and I worked in Marion.
