Webster: March 13, 2024, age 87. Barbara was born in Potsdam, NY to her parents, John B. Adams II and Mary A. [Matochik] Adams. She was one of five children. A graduate of Potsdam High School, she married Edward D. Ferguson on June 25, 1960, they were married for over 50 years.

She is survived by her two sons, Gregory (Terri Hawks) Ferguson and Brian (Audrey Sugimura) Ferguson, all residing in Maryland; five grandchildren, Zoe, Gavin, Max, Scott, and Eric; siblings, John B. Adams III, Margaret Guest, and Mary Kemp. Predeceased by her husband, Edward; sister, Helen Donnelly.

Barbara moved to St. Ann’s Community at Cherry Ridge in 2011 after the passing of her husband, and she was active in the community and church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, March 18 at the Chapel at St. Ann’s Community at Cherry Ridge, 900 Cherry Ridge Blvd., Webster.
