Obituary of Amanda Rose Willett
In Loving Memory of Amanda Rose Willett,
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearest Amanda “Rosie”, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend. Amanda departed from this world on Friday, March 1, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Amanda was born on March 12th, 1994 and grew up in Webster, NY. She was known for her passion for reading, the performing arts, music, all things Harry Potter, her infectious positivity and laughter, and her unwavering love for her parents, sister, and the family dog, Niko.
Throughout her life, Amanda had aspirations of being able to work with children - which she was able to fulfill through her most recent work. Amanda was a proud lover of books and the purest fan of Harry Potter. She also had a deep rooted love for musicals and performing arts, both in school and in her free time. Although as much as she loved these things, none of them compared to her love for her family. Amanda prioritized family time and traditions above everything else, as her parents, sister, and relatives meant the world to her. Even with being faced with a mountain of her own adversity, she had a steadfast positivity and kindness towards others. No matter the circumstance, Amanda was everyone’s biggest supporter and always lent herself as a light for others.
Amanda’s passing leaves a void in our hearts that can never be filled. However, we take solace in knowing that her legacy of love, kindness, unwavering strength and positivity will live on through the countless lives she touched. She will be remembered not only for her kind heart but also for the lasting impact she had on those who knew her.
Amanda is survived by her parents Rick and Claudia Willett, and her sister Alexandra Willett.
Calling hours will be on Saturday, March 9th, from 11am-1pm at Willard H Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster, where a Memorial Service celebrating Amanda’s life will follow at 1:00 PM. Floral arrangements may be sent to the Funeral Home.
Amanda’s memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that her legacy of love, strength and positivity will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
