Obituary of Michael A. Butwid
Webster: Sunday, February 18, 2024, age 77. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Eleanor Krolak Butwid; brother, James (Barbara) Butwid. Survived by his loving wife, Sharyn; daughters, Kimberly (Brendan) McDonald, Kelly Butwid and Carri Coleman. Grandfather to 7 cherished grandchildren, Molly, Rory, Maggie, Eleanor, Nolan, Lily and Charlie. He also leaves his wonderful brother, John (Mary); favorite niece, Sandy (Gary) Herington; sisters-in-law, Margaret (Nigel), Jackie, Ginny, Sylvia (Scott) and Cindy; many great friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mike was a long-time Webster resident, a Vietnam War Army Veteran, member of the VFW and Webster American Legion Post 942, and a member of the Honor Guard. A lifelong fisherman, he was a creative cook, avid gardener and a huge prankster who will be sorely missed.
Memorial Mass 10:00 AM Saturday, March 2 at St. John’s of Rochester Church, 8 Wickford Way, Fairport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Veteran’s organization or a charity of choice.
