Obituary of Bernard John O'Sullivan
Penfield: Sunday, January 14, 2024, age 89. Predeceased by his dear wife, Jean; parents, Thomas & Helen Sullivan; siblings, Timothy (Mary), Thomas, Helen and Gertrude O’Sullivan; mother-in-law, Dorothy Hibner; sister-in-law, Violet Mintz. He leaves his loving wife, Lenore; children, James O’Sullivan, Cindy Van Buren (Miles), Barbara Tegas (Mike) and Daniel O’Sullivan; step-children, Diedre Chase, Russell Chase (Kate) and Danielle Carr (Jason); grandkids, Lynn Spinelli (Greg), Greg Van Buren (Gaby), Lindsay Goggins (Zack), Andrew Tegas (Nikki), Patrick and Nathaniel O’Sullivan, Emily, Ashley and Megan Carr, Mallory, Jonathan and Theodore Chase; great-grandkids, Jacoby, Samantha, Jameson, Liam, Dylan and Grey; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Bernard was an amazing, dedicated father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He enjoyed bowling and golfing and was friendly with anyone he met. Active in his church, he was also a craftsman and “jack of all trades”, other than gardening. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak.
Friends may call 4-7 PM Thursday, January 18 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South, Webster. Funeral Service 10:00 AM Friday, January 19 at Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 1130 Webster Rd., Webster. Interment, Webster Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Golisano’s Children’s Hospital.
