Obituary of Annamarie Brodner McGrath

Webster:  Surrounded by her family, Annamarie went to be with our Lord on January 7, 2024.

She was predeceased by her wonderful parents, Albert and Inez Singer Brodner.  She leaves her loving husband of 43 years, James William McGrath and her three cherished sons and daughters-in-law, Andrew & Shannon McGrath, Kyle & Heather McGrath and Sean & Sarah McGrath, all of Webster.

Annamarie will live on in her four adored grandchildren, Allyson Bri, Sienna Marie, Silas James and Nora Nancy.

She also leaves behind many close cousins, caring neighbors, and dear friends, especially Skip & Sandy Zalewski of Pittsford

In addition, she is survived by her in-laws, Paul (Kate) McGrath of Carmel, CA, John (Joyce) McGath of Spencerport, Mark (Laura Molusis) McGrath of Burlington, CT;  several nieces and nephews and her mother-in-law, Dorothy McGrath of Chili.

Annamarie loved playing piano, traveling, crafting, and entertaining, but most of all, she was a dedicated hockey and baseball mom, cheering for her sons’ teams and being involved with the Webster Schroeder Hockey and Baseball Booster Clubs.

Closest to her heart was the love she had for the St. Rita Parish and School community.  She spent many years as the wedding coordinator and in the school, was a student, parent, volunteer, teaching assistant, lunch coordinator and Pre-K teacher.

She so enjoyed sharing her love of God and touched the lives of hundreds of students.

Friends may gather and greet the family 9:15 AM Saturday, January 13 at St. Rita Church, 1008 Maple Dr., Webster, where her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM.  Interment at West Webster Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, her family has requested that donation be made to St. Rita School so other children may experience a quality, faith-based education.
