Obituary of Robin Annette Willey
Webster: Robin passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5th 2024 at the age of 66, at her home surrounded by her family after a battle with cancer. Survived by her husband, Gregory Willey; sister, Lorie Walters Boehlert (Peter); brothers, Eric Walters (Jennifer) and Kent Walters (Terri); nieces and nephews, Dorothy Carey-Boehlert (Bryce), Margaret Boehlert, Holly Young (Brad), Colin Walters, Kennedy Walters, Ethan Walters, Evan Walters and Ryan Walters; Irish Setters, C, Keeva and Orla; many friends, both two and four legged.
Preceded in death by her parents Orville Lee Walters and Carole Gay Walters
Robin was involved in the Irish Setter Club of Western New York, training dogs for a number of things including Barn Hunt, Agility, Obedience and Conformation. She loved gardening, canning, making maple syrup, camping, and was able to fulfill her lifelong dream to travel on a 3-month long trek to Alaska with the love of her life, Greg, and 3 Irish setters. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary at the Arctic Circle.
Before retirement, Robin was a long time employee of Webster Veterinary Clinic.
Per Robin’s wishes, her family will be having a Celebration of Life on St. Patrick’s Day, starting at 12 noon March 17th, 2024 at 956 Gaywood Lane, Webster. All are welcome. You are encouraged to attend and bring a story to share.
