Richard we will sorely miss seeing you on our trips back to NY. We always had a great time hanging out with you and Peggy. I had never seen a banjolin before! Somehow a rare but appropriate instrument for such an interesting and fun guy as you. Thanks for sharing. I already miss our FB pun game very much, but not as much as miss you. God bless your heart. ❤️

Many memories at the cottage. Game table lively, drinks well made and laughter abundant. Richard and Peg were always open to a good time. Card games won't be the same.

We are all travelers in this world
From the sweet grass to the packing house
Birth till death
We travel between the eternities.
I am so thankful to have shared this journey with you brother. From childhood to old men and everything in between. We shared experiences and life lessons and a world view. The rest of my journey will be more lonely without you. Love Charlie

Our sincerest and deepest sympathy to you Mary and sons, Chris and Matt. Although the years since a visit have been many, Marietta and I warmly recall the visits to Southington, that great family room and the energy of three little ones playing amidst the adult conversations. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. Donna, Marietta and Ethan Cox.

We have known Mary and Richard for decades. There are so many memories and so little space and time to relive our appreciation of Richard. The memory of their trip to Puerto Rico is very heartwarming. We will miss him so.
He was a good man.
Love,
Ellen and George

My deepest condolences to Richard's family, especially his wife, my childhood friend. Whenever I visited, his smile was so welcoming and his generous soul was seen in his sparkling eyes. I will miss my visits to the cottage and all the wine drinking we did. I raise a glass to him.
