Rene was a terrifc neighbor and a great friend to my late wife, Ruth Ann as our kids were growing up! She worked with my wife at St. Mary's Academy in Baldwinsville, and our kids grew up together in Radisson! She will be greatly missed by all of the Baumbach family.

Dear John and family,
Greatly saddened by the news of the passing of your sweet and loving wife and mother, Rene.
In years past, whether it was doing our morning "walks and talks", having lunch, or shopping for bargains at Talbots; it was fun with Rene. Rene was always thoughtful and considerate. She helped make everyone's day-a better day.
My deepest sympathy to all in your family.
Rest in peace, dear friend.

Rene was a classmate of mine (and ours) class of 1960,DeSales High School,Geneva, NY. Our friendship deepened ,especially when we were planning our 50th class reunion. By then we had moved to neighboring Penfield, Ny.
We reklindled our friendship with trips back to Geneva for Masses, luncheons, enriching our friendship with our home town roots.
WE have missed Rene's presence the last few years as we knew her health was deteriorating.
RIP dear "Rene". You are missed. To her family, your Mom will never be forgotten by those of us who spent our high school days and beyond with your beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and most importantly our friend Rene-no one can compare.
God bless all of you,
Peggy Chester Salone,

Rene was one of the first people we met when we moved to our neighborhood in 2017. We loved saying hello when she walked by our house, which was often 4x a day on her two walks! (She always complimented our mailbox flowers, which made us very happy!) Rene was so wonderful to always buy Girl Scout cookies and treats from my daughter (often for her grandchildren) and seemed to really enjoy watching the neighborhood kids play in the cul-de-sac from her window. We have missed seeing her out walking the past few years but are glad we saw her a few days before she passed away. We will miss her dearly in the neighborhood and will think of her often.
