Obituary of Carol B. Langdon

Carol (Bennett) Langdon passed away on Sept. 29, 2023 at the age of 64. Daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Bennett.  Predeceased by her sister, Deborah Bennett, and daughter, Michelle Elizabeth.  Carol is survived by her husband of 39 years, Daniel; children, Kevin Langdon and Keith (Kelly) Langdon; granddaughter, Anna Leigh; brother, Douglas (Karen) Bennett, nieces and nephews.

Carol earned two degrees—an Associate in computer science with distinction and received the Outstanding Science Student award and an Associate in applied science for Science Laboratory Technology. She used this education in a variety of disciplines while employed at Kodak, Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics and the NYSDOT. An accomplishment that Carol and Dan enjoyed together was planning and building their family home where their two sons were raised.

Carol will be best remembered as a loving and nurturing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her greatest joys were spending time with family, taking trips to Sand Banks Park in Canada and Letchworth State Park and attending Rolling Stones concerts. Two weeks before she passed, Carol joyfully attended her son Keith’s wedding.

Carol was a loving presence in the lives of all who knew her.

Friends and family may visit Saturday, October 14 at Willard H Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster, between 2 and 5 p.m. A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
