Anthony "Tony" Germani Obituary

Webster, NY: Aged 91, passed away on 8/23/23 after a brief illness.

Tony was born on August 2, 1932 in Syracuse, NY. After attending Lincoln high school, he entered the Army and was stationed in the Panama Canal Zone. During that time, he married his high school sweetheart, Olga Testa. Tony resided most of his life in Syracuse and worked many years as an installer for Western Electric.

Tony spent a great deal of his spare time pursuing his notable music talent as the lead singer and guitarist in a band he formed, originally called the “Tony-G-Trio”, and later known as the “Ton-Mat-Dics.” He crafted his own wine which became a common signature at family gatherings. Also, he enjoyed spoiling his many canine companions over the years.

Tony was predeceased by his wife, Olga; his parents, Joseph and Mary; brother, John; and sister, Felice. He is survived by his two daughters, Tonya Godfrey and Mary Toni Bachman; his younger brother, Joe; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a celebration of life has been arranged.
